there’s no place like home…there’s no place like home…

I packed up my ruby slippers, some warmer weather clothes, Toto and I hit the road bound for the hills of Tennessee. Thanksgiving couldn’t have come at a better time, I needed to smell fresh air, be around people who know your name, but most of all eat some of my Momma’s cookin. Momma and Daddy are both wonderful cooks, Daddy usually takes the breakfast post due to my Mother not being a morning person, and Momma usually rounds us up for dinner. Every meal was better than the one before, sometimes it’s good to be southern. Food is where you will always find familiar faces, and take your mind back to familiar places. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, I know I was reminded of all I’m thankful for…

from me two you,
